She explained that I used to rush to write about it and now I am really not doing that.
She is right that it airs on Tuesday nights (ABC) and that I write about it on Fridays.
I do not watch it most Tuesdays. I get it online. I am used to it being on Wednesdays and really need a reminder to watch it on Tuesdays.
I write about it on Fridays because that is often TV night for several community sites so I try to stay with that theme.
But it is very funny.
Anna read that the ratings were down for the second episode.
That does not surprise me at all because the first episode was not good.
I do not understand that at all. They knew the show was moving before they filmed anything for this season. So you would think they would write a strong opener.
Instead, Courtney Cox was forgotten. Seriously. Jules was lost in the first episode. They had no emphasis on her at all.
There is a nice ensemble feel to the show but if Jules is not getting the focus, it is really not Cougar Town.
So after that first episode, I could understand people being disappointed and deciding not to watch.
But hopefully, they have now heard the second episode was hilarious. The third one (this week's episode) was very strong as well.
I think it is a strong show that is very funny and one of the few shows that can blend humor and warm moments without being corny.
This is C.I.'s "Iraq snapshot" for today:
