Something else to watch is Cougar Town. This week (Tuesdays on ABC -- I caught it Wednesday), Jules continued her wedding planning but had to stop when Travis attempted to return to college via Bobby's dog and a skateboard. Travis had a bad accident.
He ended up in the hospital which allowed us to learn that the neighbor they pick on, Tom, is actually a doctor, actually head surgeon. They did not know either.
I feel sorry for Tom.
Lori and Ellie formed a temporary friendship when they bonded over Andy's creepy feet (Ellie says they are as wide as they are long). Then they went after Bobby, Andy and Grayson who were playing Bobby's new game Domination Ball. They throw a ball at you and try to hit you.
There was a lot of humor and a lot of warmth. It was one of those episodes the show specializes in where you laugh and you really realize how much you appreciate those close to you.
We learned about Grayson's scar because Travis felt he wouldn't be seen as cool and Jules told him that he didn't have to stick with the story as it happened, that Grayson had a scar and they were dating for awhile before he told her the truth.
So how did Grayson get his scar?
From his curling iron.
He hollers, "It was the 90s!"
This is C.I.'s "Iraq snapshot" for today:
