In the 8:30pm half-hour, despite facing the return of Glee to the time slot, ABC's Cougar Town surged 14% over its last telecast 3 weeks ago in Total Viewers, generating its most-watched telecast of the season. In addition the ABC comedy gained 9% in Adults 18-34, equaling a season-high rating.
Yea! There have been a lot of people saying the show should get the axe this year.
So this episode found Jules wedding planning still. I think they will make the wedding the last episode of the season.
Grayson is being called "Two Day" because it is the second day of his being a father to Julie. Julie? He got to pick his daughter Tampa's middle name and he hates Tampa. Ellie and Jules are not going with the name change. I kept waiting for Jules to catch on to the flattery ("Jules" -- "Julie"). She never did.
Bobby caught Sarah Chalke's character kissing another man. This was after he and Andy had a make out party with Ms. Chalke (Bobby) and Ellie (Andy). Bobby wanted to break up but she wanted to have sex. She told him she cannot get serious.
At the end of the episode he broke up with her.
Jules' big problem was that Travis wanted to take the wedding pictures. She was afraid he had no talent. Then she found out he did have talent and was afraid because few photographers apparently make a living at it.
Travis also finally got his helmet off (from the accidents weeks ago). Laurie discovered the wonders of Simon. The game from the eighties?
Do you remember it?
Grayson is baby proofing and opens a drawer that has been stuck closed for over 15 years so he can baby proof it (yes, he realized that did not make a lot of sense). In the drawer was Simon and many other things.
Jules: Oh! My old Fleetwood Mac cassette. You know, Fleetwood Mac married Stevie Nicks!
Ellie: I don't think so.
Jules: Well it's true!
Of course, it is not true.
This is C.I.'s "Iraq snapshot" for today:
