I was planning on blogging about Solyndra tonight but there was a Herman Cain development. Mr. Cain is running for the GOP's presidential nomination. POLITCO reports Sharon Bialek has stepped forward to say that Mr. Cain sexually harassed her in 1997.
Good for Ms. Bialek. (Gloria Allred is representing her.) She had a charge to level and she did not whisper it to friendly journalists. She took to the town square today to lodge her charges.
I find her credible.
She has nothing to gain from the accusations and she had no known settlement with Mr. Cain. I see her as a frank and fair participant. I also found her trustworthy in the broadcast sections of the news conference today.
Unlike some who claimed they wanted to help others, I believe Ms. Bialek does. I think Mr. Cain should be announcing his departure from the race shortly. If he does not, it is just one more example of how he was not presidentila material.
