But I will give Mr. Loo a link to a piece at World Can't Wait.
This is not a case of, "Oh, you are too tired to carry a grudge." Or too old.
I will gladly carry my grudges against Tricky Dick, Henry Kissinger, Ronald Reagan, Bully Boy Bush, and others.
I can carry a grudge forever and a day, especially if it involves attacks on my children or grandchildren.
But Mr. Loo no longer uses the demonizing/ridiculing term and hopefully would not do so again. (Mr. Loo always maintained that he was not using the term to be homophobic. If the reason your audience is laughing is homophobia, it does not matter why you yourself use it and, be honest, you know you will get that homophobic laugh.)
I have actually thought of doing that for several months -- tossing out a link to a piece by Mr. Loo. But I always forget so I better do it tonight while I am remembering.
Go read Mr. Loo's piece and may he find peace and joy this holiday season.
This is C.I.'s "Iraq snapshot" for today:
