That is Isaiah's "Bully Poppa's True Sons." from October 14, 2007, reminding us all that John Edwards uses his campaign to team up with Barack Obama in attacks on Hillary Clinton.
And now John Edwards may face federal indictment. And prison.
He deserves it. Chloe Larkin (Gather) reports:
John Edwards called Rielle Hunter a "moron" because she did not destroy the sex tape that the two made together. Rielle Hunter was the mistress who had Edwards's love child that he tried to cover up.
It is unbelievable that the former Presidential hopeful could call anybody a moron after all the hot water he is in for his own behaviors that aren't too smart. He did this when he first found out that Hunter did not have the tape and a former colleague of his did. The sex tape that he and Rielle Hunter made together is now in the hands of Edwards's former aide, Andrew Young.
Maybe the "moron" was the married man running for public office with a wife who had terminal cancer but still decided to make a sex tape with his then-pregnant girlfriend? Kevin Bohn (CNN) reports:
Former presidential contender and senator John Edwards and heiress and former benefactor Rachel "Bunny" Mellon met Thursday at her Virginia estate, a source with knowledge of the circumstances confirmed to CNN.
The source would not discuss the meeting in any detail and refused to speak on the record because the meeting was private.
Mellon, who is 100, has been a supporter of Edwards for years and has given both to his presidential campaign and other causes associated with him.
Mellon is now at the forefront of the Justice Department investigation of whether Edwards violated campaign finance laws concerning a donation. In his tell-all book "The Politician," former Edwards staffer Andrew Young wrote that Mellon gave Edwards a gift of $700,000 that was used to cover up Edwards' affair with Rielle Hunter, a video producer for Edwards' campaign, and to support Hunter.
ABC News adds, "Mellon, heir to a banking fortune, donated more than $4 million dollars to political organizations and non-profits tied to Edwards' 2008 run and also provided more than $700 thousand that prosecutors believe was funneled to the effort to support and seclude Edwards' mistress, Rielle Hunter. Mellon's attorney has described those payments as gifts and has said that Mellon was unaware of how the money was used."
Again, I am hoping Mr. Edwards goes to a nice, federal prison.
